About The Artwork

On show "Anduma: Building Bridges" from 4th of July - 29th of August 2020. If you love this artwork, please contact the Saatchi Curator Team. rebecca.wilson@saatchiart.com This colorful sculpture is made out of fiberglass and resin. The stand is metal painted with color anthrazite.. It has a wonderful round form. I painted the heart with high quality acrylics , spray paint and color pencils. It is varnished for protection against dust and UV light. It can stand inside and ourdoors. The weight is about 60 kilos/132 pounds. It is 165cm/64.96 inches H x 93cm/36.61 in W x 55cm/21.65 in deep. "We build too many walls and not enough bridges." Isaac Newton My artwork is talking about people who are trying to move from one side to the other hanging or walking on an acrobat rope crossing an abstract colourful landscape. Let's build a bridge to a new day paved with kindes and respect for others. And then cross it together. Each person can take on the role of bridge building in a world that is so devided and where much hospitility exists separating groups, races, nations. The sculpture is a real eyecatcher in an entrance area or outdoors. It will be packed in a wooden crate and be shipped with a signed certificate of authenticity My sculptures are also available as commissioned artworks. Please contact the Saatchi curator team.

The Magic of Childhood: Bea Schubert's Colorful Rebellion against Everyday Life My artistic expression is a passionate rebellion against the dreariness of the everyday, a manifesto for the joy and wonder of childhood. In my works, I unfold a world where lightheartedness and imagination reign, where colors come alive and hope and courage take tangible form. Each of my paintings is an invitation to be swept away by the power of optimism. They are created to uplift and inspire the soul, to not just dream one's own dreams, but to live them boldly. In my works, you will find a colorful oasis that motivates you to write your own unique story. I want you to feel like the hero of your life, surrounded by a world infused with joy, hope, and boundless energy.
