ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This series of ceramic wall sculptures has evolved from my 2D abstract watercolors and line drawings. The shapes and colors have been inspiring each other, and lately I've been splitting my time between the two mediums. This piece is made from paperclay, which makes it lighter than most ceramics, as the paper burns off in the kiln. It has been glazed and fired, and can hang on a wall or sit on a table.
