this is stylized glass which can be seen as half full or empty. though name of this work is optimistic, viewer can see it half empty or refuse to see a glass at all. piece of work can be seen as bunch of shapes stuck together in some harmonious manner.

i like to experiment with materials and shapes, to see how various fabrics fit together not even in color, but also in texture. textile surfaces make whole piece more cozy, intmate and homey.

It is a stylized, abstract interpretation of a drinking glass that invites viewers to confront their own perspectives. Is it half full or empty? Or perhaps not a glass at all? I consider my creative process elemental – as if natural forces act through me in their own rhythm, offering sources of inspiration that are unpredictable and arrive unexpectedly. It could be a real or imagined everyday situation, an overheard conversation, a passage I’ve read, or simply a thought that drifts in. It begins to ask for a physical form, and I try to embody it through curious, almost magical process. My works are often connected to an inner feeling that, I hope, the viewer might recognize in themselves. The scenes resemble fragments of daily life – simple, domestic moments that, when felt attentively, become significant. I’m moved by seemingly unremarkable situations that, when experienced inwardly, can feel intense, even dramatic. I work with mixed media: various paints, pencils, graphite, varnish, markers, textiles or poetic text. I enjoy blending genres, and visually my works often balance between abstraction, sketch-like gestures, fauvism, illustration, or a naïve style. I create relief pieces using a personal technique: surfaces of plywood or plastic, cut into specific shapes, are layered with paint or textile and assembled into irregular, textured wall-mounted objects. For me, creating is a way to discover, feel, and explore human experiences and relationship with nature.
