“hanza mountain II” consists of a large number of crossbars called “Hanza” “Hanza” is the rural name for “hay men” in the Tyrolean Arlberg region. Due to the technical modernization of hay harvesting, these are rarely used these days and lead a shadowy existence. Most of them have been stored in barns for decades or have already been used as firewood. Manfred Hellweger creates something new from these nostalgic wooden constructions and puts them back in the right light. The steel rail mounted on the back allows the work to be attached to the wall with 2 screws. The surface of the work is completely natural. All of Manfred Hellweger’s sculptures are unique.
