human nails #8 consists of many individual wire nails, which were connected to each other by targeted welding points and thus unite to form an abstracted, human figure. The wooden base comes from an old barn, which was left to decay. Through elaborate brushing of the old wood, the artist has brought the vivid grain of the larch wood back to the surface. Thus, the old piece of wood again receives a new function and appreciation. The upper area of the sculpture was processed with different tools and the surface sealed with matt clear varnish to prevent oxidation of the steel.
