ANCESTRAL ORDER - THE INSPIRATION The sea is like a canvas. I draw on it, I meditate on it, I “paint” these images on it. Diving is like a tunnel to another dimension. It’s the place of the silver eyes, of the thousands of black stars. It’s floating, flying. It’s a spontaneous geometric order, natur...

Kantfish is a visual artist and multidisciplinary author whose work explores reality as a layered, symbolic and perceptual experience. His artistic vision is grounded in the concept "More Than Real": an approach that seeks to reveal what lies beyond the surface of things, the subtle, often invisible dimensions that shape our relationship with nature, human environments and consciousness itself. Photography is the foundation of his practice. From this starting point, Kantfish applies a precise and intuitive process of transformation through personal digital techniques. Landscapes, natural, urban or human, are reworked into abstract and contemplative spaces, where the image moves beyond representation and becomes experience. In these works, the object dissolves into the subject, and photography shifts from observation to expression. Kantfish’s work invites viewers to a curious “slow looking”, to question what they see, and to engage with reality through perception rather than certainty. To connect with the same intuition. Inspired by humanist thought, philosophy and contemporary science, his practice embraces uncertainty as a form of truth. Each piece becomes a window into another state of awareness, real, or "more than real", where time, breath and presence unfold quietly. His projects have been exhibited internationally in contexts that bridge contemporary art, audiovisual creation and digital culture. Kantfish has been selected for events such as "The Wrong Biennale 2025", the biggest digital international art event, and has exhibited at institutions including the "Círculo de Bellas Artes" in Madrid. His artworks have also been recognized in prestigious awards such as at Obra Abierta International Plastic Arts Prize (2012). His audiovisual works have been presented at venues such as the "National Gallery of Bangalore" in India, and his digital works have been shown in NFT and new media exhibitions in Barcelona ("Guinovart Space", 2022) or Milan ("Alveare Studio", 2025) and international platforms. Kantfish’s works are held in private collections across Europe, Japan and Australia. He has been represented by galleries such as TRiCERA Art To Heritage, Flecha, Saatchi-Art, 4/d Arty, or artist representation agencies like Vi-Art or LEG UP. He is a long-standing member of the Italian National Association of Journalists, a background that continues to inform his attention to detail, context and narrative structure.
