Kate Chadwick-Jones is a contemporary artist based on the outskirts of London. A self taught intuitive artist, using mixed mediums and an enormous passion to create big bold abstract artwork. "Spontaneous creativity connects us with our playful nature and allows us to express our passions and feelings. I love bold colour combinations, creating texture and playing with fluid flows - experimenting with mixed mediums such as acrylics, oils, watercolor and various inks, allows me the freedom to explore, all creating different outcomes ." “I have tried to talk about my work but it always ends up sounding pretentious and false. All I can say is that I love what I do, and I love exploring new ways, techniques to paint and will continue to learn and grow along the way. Seeing what’s out there and soaking up new ideas helps me to create new pieces that will be, most definitely interpreted by people in different ways. An individual’s response to pictures and art is always personal, everyone sees life differently and each piece will have its own relevance and meaning.
