My name is Victoria! For me art is an ambiguous concept that combines fashion, painting, philosophy and psychology! Sometimes, paintings are a reflection of our essence, helping us to redefine ourselves. That's what my work is based on! I try to reflect sincerity and honesty, showing elegance of lines and forms, and sometimes carelessness with roughness that show complete freedom in action. My work seeks to expand the mind and dive into the subconscious, hence the origin of my professional history. For a long time I had strange dreams, with the kind of bizarre sequences you might see in an art house or surrealist film! At first it freaked me out but then I learned to read them, becoming aware of myself and my surroundings, extrapolating them into art. My work is my inner world, the world of the artist and creator, where the main characters are the colors and what's inside them! An opportunity to reflect on my personal feelings through a painting, be it joy or sadness, fear or excitement, elation or delusion, to find the root cause and understand it as everyone sees it in their own way, and vice versa, to leave any judgment and think in Dadaism style! I use different styles and techniques as well as unconventional materials to create my paintings. It can be a self-made canvas with plaster figures, jute thread and dried flowers, stabilized moss on wood, a large acrylic painting on a wooden canvas, markers, pens, gold leaf, etc. Also, I create plaster planters, decor elements and plaster costume jewelry with flowing shapes that I create myself as the material dries! I am an independent artist who frees myself from frames and gives free rein to the subconscious, thereby encouraging my viewers to do the same! My goal is to demonstrate the depth of imagination and thought, and the opportunity to immerse myself in an inner journey, to enjoy the colors and the variety of forms and subjects.
