Inspired by my recent trip to Portugal and by Rothko, Pollock, and Twombly, I create paintings that use controlled scribbled brushstrokes that build graduated color fields. My work is a meditation on control and chaos, a dance between precision and surrender. Inspired by Rothko, Pollock, and Twombly, I build immersive fields of color through layered, controlled scribble brushstrokes. In my Morphing Clouds of Linear Color series, I work methodically—one stroke, one color at a time—starting with large strokes, expanding outward and finishing with detailed small brushstrokes—allowing the colors to blend optically in the viewer’s eye. Each painting is both structured and organic, a process-driven exploration of letting go. Through repetition and gradual transformation, I invite the unexpected, embracing the beauty in disorder. My paintings are my therapy, my meditation, and my salvation—offering a space for reflection, release, and quiet discovery. For those who collect my work, I offer more than color on canvas; I offer a moment of stillness, a reminder to trust the process, and an invitation to find beauty in the unpredictable.
