Mike Pitzer is a Pop-Realism artist known for his detailed drawings of nostalgic Americana and childhood memorabilia. Raised along the St. Clair River in Algonac, Michigan, his upbringing significantly influenced his art.
Pitzer works in graphite and colored pencils, producing highly detailed, oversized drawings, like snow sleds, Tootsie Pops, vintage tennis racquets, and fishing lures — objects that elicit happy memories and connections with well-loved possessions, which is why he calls his creations — “Happy Art.”
Additionally, Pitzer maintains an active presence on social media, sharing his artistic endeavors and engaging with followers through platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
