Frida Kahlo (1907-1954), Mexican artist. One of South America's leading painters. This collage is from a series of six and was spontaneously made by five year 4 students and myself with the purpose of organizing a cultural trip to Maastricht. The collages were made within an 8-minute time frame so thinking is almost out of the question but spontaneous doing and acting. We quickly and 'brutally' used old magazines and newspapers to give the iconic portrait of Frida Kahlo a status that would not have been out of place. A beautiful series of contemporary art that will adorn your interior. Of course you can also order the works individually up to large sizes.
