This work is a union of different techniques, the inspiration is a Victorian game, the thaumatrope "spinning of wonders" The orange octopus is imprisoned in the bronze colored cage. Spinning the game quickly, the animal appears to be trapped, this optical illusion was one of the ancient games that I only had lucky children. All this transferred to canvas, embellished with a gold leaf frame and leaves and flowers, in paper collages and drawn on the set of images. The white background is slightly textured with oil technique, all on canvas, 4 cm thick that can also be hung without a frame. The work is in two canvases that can be hung close or detached. 2 canvases 60x80cm
