This work originates from a chain of successive reworkings: an original photograph is transformed and reinterpreted again until it loses its initial identity and takes on a surreal vision. Immortaliser le passage du temps

In the mid-1980s, when my first camera, a small Kodak from those years, came into my hands, photography entered my life and never left. I have never seen it as a pursuit of perfection: it is neither what I seek nor what defines me. Rather, it is a personal, deep, and quiet passion that has never faded over time. Every photograph begins with a simple gesture: stopping what is before my eyes, holding onto a moment before it disappears. In that gesture there is always a hint of nostalgia, a gentle awareness, lightly tinged with melancholy, that time flows, transforms everything, and never turns back. For me, photographing means precisely this: trying to hold onto passing time, one shot after another.
