At the Graduate Studies Division of the same University, he carried out Master’s level studies in Monuments Restoration. Since the beginning of his career, he has participated in projects of Dissemination and Restoration of Monuments, and has been interested in the graphic representation of architecture, exploring the application of various drawing techniques such as pencil and ink. He has also used engraving on metal with etching and aquatint techniques. He has combined the aforementioned techniques with watercolor. In his work, the plastic expression of Architecture is approached through elevations and three-dimensional representations, using the Renaissance Perspective. He lives and works in Mexico City where, in his drawing and engraving workshop, he has integrated the Centro Histórico Collection, with his own drawings, which bear witness to the historical architecture, mainly of Mexico. It includes Pre-Hispanic Architecture of Mesoamerica, as well as colonial, baroque, modern and contemporary. He has also collaborated with public sector institutions and private companies in the elaboration of commemorative folders that include drawings and engravings of architectural themes. Many of his drawings have been published in books and magazines. His work has been exhibited in more than 60 solo and group exhibitions, in distinguished forums such as the National Museum of Architecture of the Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico, the Ion Mincu University in Budapest and The National Building Museum in Washington D.C., where he shared spaces with prestigious architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Louis Sullivan, Richard Morris Hunt, Thomas Jefferson, Frank Gehry and Mies van der Rohe. He has taught drawing and engraving courses and workshops in cultural and university forums. He has also given conferences on his work and the techniques used in the forums where he has exhibited, such as the Museum of the Palace of Fine Arts, National Museum of San Carlos, Goitia Museum of Zacatecas, Gallery of the Faculty of Architecture of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, as well as in multiple academic forums and civil associations.
