ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was working on some sketches that were pushing towards the upper right corner of the frame, which I liked. I created a larger piece so I could add a loose grid of right-angled lines in the background which gives the foreground something to rush past. I feel swept up in this, and I'm always looking over my shoulder. Maybe someone will see calm?
