ABOUT THE ARTWORK

drawing after Emil Noldes block print. I came across this figure as a thumbnail on internet and found it immediately a strong image. I copied it with Chinese ink on paper and now it hangs on my wall ! ************************************************* Emil Nolde is a controversial artist, but yet a creator of strong images. Immersed in this medium, I dip my brush into the ink, allowing myself to relax and create a face with the barest essential lines. This process is adaptable to any size paper or canvas, employing an array of brushes of different sizes. The focal point of my work is the eyes, as they breathe life into the art. Once the ink has dried, I often infuse vibrant color accents using gouache paint. My artistic style seamlessly blends elements of action painting, figurative painting, and the free-spirited essence of doodling. Can this be doodleisme ? ...
