Signals Print

My art explores the quiet realms where the past lingers and unseen stories reside. The focus is on documenting transparent things and recording imaginary communication, translating intangible whispers and echoes into tangible forms. It is about perceiving what is hidden – to see sound and hear shadows – and transforming the static and fragments of the past into something that can be seen, touched, and felt. This practice involves decoding faint messages and quietly observing information, piecing together the untold stories of places and the people that are unknown but sensed to be there. These are "Portraits of repurposed memories", creating new narratives from remnants and forgotten histories. Through mixed media paintings, assemblages and collages these themes are explored. Using paint, ink, old photographs, hand cut-outs, and drawings, alongside found objects, narratives are constructed that bridge the tangible and the intangible. Ultimately, the goal of my work is to create a dialogue between the viewer and the unseen, inviting contemplation of the lingering echoes, the unspoken stories, and the beauty found in the forgotten fragments of time.
