Ashes of Time, 2009 (Spiritual Art Collection) Approx. Size: H23.4 x W33.1 inches (A1) Limited Edition 1 of 23 Visit for details and prices of other options. Art Description: Ashes of Time, 2009 Yunnan Print on Cotton Texture Art Paper 285 gram *The artwork was developed from the film more than 10 years ago. We did a lot of procedures including handcraft and AI enhancement to make this work comes true, from a low-resolution photo, and make it paint-liked texture. It’s fun to try and error many times in this experimental process. It may not be perfect, but the imperfection made it Art. Story of the Artwork: This artwork took in Autumn, 2009, traveling as a backpacker from Sichuan to Yunnan(Shangri-La)inside Daocheng Yading, actually, my destination is Tibet on that trip. I always wonder what is Freedom. When I was young, I think that freedom is doing what you want to do. Now I understand after these years when I experienced life. Freedom is not doing what you wanna do, freedom is you can stop doing what you dun wanna do. Life is mixture of ups and downs, laughs and tears, after all, everything will flow, like the clouds above the mountain in this Artwork. When living life you may not aware everything becomes ashes at the end of life. I hope my Artwork gives you a sense of peace, the concept of time flow, the feelings of love and hopes. Live your life to the fullest, create your life like an art piece. That's the story of this artwork. Thanks to the Team and the Universe.
