Ceren is a digital artist based in Turkey, with a professional background in law. Though her professional background is rooted in law, her heart has always belonged to the world of imagination and creativity. She began creating digital art as a personal exploration - an escape into visual storytelling that quickly grew into a passionate, daily practice. Entirely self-taught, Ceren learned through online resources and developed her own intutive approach to digital painting. She doesn’t follow academic rules or classical techniques, instead, she listens to her inner world, crafting scenes that feel both surreal and deeply personal. Her artworks often reflect emotional isolation, introspection and quite strenght. Drawing from philosophy, space and dreamlike artchitecture, she creates visuals that feel like fragments from another reality - silent yet alive. “To me” she says, “art is where thought becomes visible.” Ceren continues to push boundaries, not to fit into the art world, but to build her own. Artist Manifesto — Ceren Barlas For me, art is a means of materializing the unseen layers of consciousness. In every work, I aim not to present an image but to provoke inquiry. Art reaches its true meaning at the moment one realizes what they thought they saw, rather than what they actually see. Digital tools are both an intellectual extension and a technical ground for me. I use technology not merely as a medium but as a new language of consciousness. The techniques I have developed — Chromatic Drift, Erasura Layering, Nebula Point — are not aesthetic experiments alone; they are structural explorations of perception and transformation. Each represents a possible future syntax in the evolving language of art. My purpose is to lead the viewer into a silent moment of awareness. I believe the true power of art lies in its ability to transform. If one of my works creates even the smallest fracture in someone’s way of thinking, it has fulfilled its purpose.
