ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Seriesof works on paper Thousand Clouds does not reflect on a potency of landscape to express the ever-changing nature of life; embodiment of the enigmatic; the unreachable; or to manifest mesmerizing or turbulent sky events. These works on paper explore thematically monotonous, but conceptually inexhaustible interplay between three stanchions. Thought. Mind. Cognition. In their metonymic function, clouds became substitution for thoughts and emotions; space and architecture a substitution for a mind; and the beholder a substitution for awareness or cognition. This thematic structure is easy to observer but might be easier to decode by those familiar with Buddhist’s dialectics facture. The courage to present diverse, boisterous expresionistic lyricism that can be tracked to the lroots of formalism but it serves well when promoting the encounter with a rascality of constructed reality.
