ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Deep Blue Mandala is my recent work inspired by İllumination Art which dates back to the Uyghur Turks in Anatolia in the 12th century and was developing pararelly to the art of calligraphy, which dates back to the early years of İslam. The repeating motifs and patterns that İ use in my work are a best expression of my spiritual travel and meditation that İ do everyday during long hours of its creation.
