ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Magic Bug was introduced in 2015 to benefit AIDS Project Los Angeles. Keith Haring was a huge inspiration. I wanted to pay homage to his memory by infecting his “dancing figures” with the bug. They are once again happy and living living life. Love is Contagious! This golden series is printed on an opalescent RC paper and reverse-mounted onto 1/4” acrylic. It has a 3-D quality to the piece.
