ABOUT THE ARTWORK

UTOPIA, 2011 (Spiritual Art Collection) Approx. Size: H23.4 x W33.1 inches (A1) Limited Edition 1 of 33 Visit for details and prices of other options. Art Description: UTOPIA, 2011 (Spiritual Art Collection) Sichuan Print on Cotton Artist Textured 310 gram paper. *The artwork was developed from the film more than 10 years ago. We did a lot of procedures including handcraft and AI enhancement to make this work comes true, from a low-resolution photo, and make it paint-liked texture. It’s fun to try and error many times in this experimental process. It may not be perfect, but the imperfection made it Art. Story of the Artwork: This Artwork was taken in the early morning, while I and my friends were camping on the journey hiking in Yunnan. This art called UTOPIA, and I think of another word I love - DEVA LOKA. In Indian religions, DEVA LOKA is a plane of existence where gods and devas exist. The DEVA LOKA is usually described as places of eternal light and goodness, similar to the concept of Heaven. Within Hindu traditions where DEVA LOKA is understood as temporary, one must return to a life on Earth to become better and learn more and thus attain liberation. Life is like a dream, but most human beings chasing different dreams every day. We all not sure what's the most important thing in our lives, but when I capture this dream-liked scene after a good sleep in a wild camp. I wondered is it I was still in another dream because the picture in front of me is so surreal. Maybe there is no the most important thing in our lives, but every moment you are living with joy. That's the story of this artwork. Hope you love my Artwork.
