ABOUT THE ARTWORK

VAN GOGH IN HONG KONG, 2005 (TinyHongKong Collection) Approx. Size: H23.4 x W33.1 inches (A1) Limited Edition 1 of 33 Visit for details and prices of other options. Art Description: VAN GOGH IN HONG KONG, 2005 (TinyHongKong Collection) Location: Shing Mun Reservoir Camera: Leica M6 Print on Cotton Artist Textured paper 310 gram *The artwork was developed from the film more than 10 years ago. We did a lot of procedures including handcraft and AI enhancement to make this work comes true, from a low-resolution photo, and make it paint-liked texture. It’s fun to try and error many times in this experimental process. It may not be perfect, but the imperfection made it Art. Story of the Artwork: I really love the art style of minimalism. When I captured Hong Kong, you may be surprised that the visual in my art is not really “Hong Kong”. I’ve read the book about the life of the amazing Dutch post-impressionist artist Van Gogh. And I always wonder how lonely is an artist or human, if his amazing thoughts cannot be heard by the world. I recorded this frame within a reservoir in Hong Kong. After the AI process, you can see the texture and color of this artwork transformed into something very dreamy and full of paint-liked mood. And this made me think of this amazing artist in the history. Maybe you can tell me your feeling about this art, I would like to hear. That's the story of this artwork. Hope you love my Artwork.
