About The Artwork
After a year struggle with an illness I started painting these images of figures in a bath tube. All of them have in common its quietness. I wanted to point out the loneliness that surrounds the human nature in the end. No matter what you do your fate is written by destiny and there is nothing you can do to change it. Suddenly your destiny shows your fragility. The figures in these paintings show this fragility and loneliness. The bath time is a moment to think over it, to stay quiet and enjoy just the minute.
