AMIT ARI- is a group of two artists united by one vision of art. Timofey Stroganov and Iryna Melnichenko grew up in the same apartment block, but 35 years apart. When they met each other in 2013 they recognized each other as soulmates. Over a period several years, their similar views on cinema, books, psychology and artistic integrity brought them closer together until they were determined to create something independent, something that stands apart from current styles and temporal trends. We often draw one and the same work at the same time. The reason is that we see one scene from the same viewpoint. But the mystery of the process lies in the unconscious.
