ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting began with an onsite drawing that I used as a referral, as is my practice. I am always inspired by nature around me for both the drawings and the in-studio paintings themselves. For decades now I have used acrylic paints for environmental reasons. Not only do I like the Golden company paints and mediums, but I like the fact of cleaning up with water instead of toxic chemicals. I hope the full panoply of fall is captured in this paints.
