About The Artwork
The sea by my side. Blustery on Monday, balmy by Wednesday, and still blue on the weekend. Perpetually present, day in and day out. The sea is a faithful companion, a beacon and a true delight. In this piece, I've melded the elements of acrylic and oil pastel with sand and ink to capture the essence of the sea's perpetual dance. Inspired by Corsica Island's seascapes, this piece celebrates those special corners where our natural world can still be experienced and relished. The work is signed on the front and the back of the painting and is ready to hang.

Originally from Vancouver, Canada she has been living abroad for many years, continues to travel extensively and today lives on the island of Corsica. This diverse cultural exposure has shaped her perception of people and their emotional connection with their environments. Using acrylics & inks as mediums, and nature's curves to tell the story, the result lies somewhere between figurative and abstract. She draws inspiration from her travel observations, contemporary thinking and her own photography. Kelly sells her original works worldwide.
