I wanted to experience the ever-growing grandeur through this painting. In addition, I imagined how big and varied the world I live in is. About the Artist

Lydia Lee

South Korea

The lines in my painting are, above all, honest and lucid.
They do not imitate nature; they construct space.
I simply extend territories, connect them, and allow them to adapt, following the movement of color as naturally as possible.

While I am deeply engaged with physics and biology, I am equally immersed in literature. I am drawn to invisible harmonies that bind disparate elements into relation.
Music, therefore, becomes my most direct source of inspiration — a model of structure unfolding in time, where tension, expansion, and resolution coexist.
