Connections Print

I remember I went back to college in Kannur to attend my convocation back in 2021, it was a warm day. I met everyone after a long time past the pandemic, but that warmth of meeting everybody after a long time faded away very quickly. The sense of loneliness in that crowd creeped in and I remembered this place never felt like home. I created this artwork as an exploration of connections we create throughout our lives. Some connections make us feel home and some make us feel lonely even in a crowd. The abstract blues represents the gone by connections and the eyes are in search of that one home. Connections Why is it so hard to connect with people in real sense? May be that's why I am an artist. Its so much more easier this way. You just pour in your emotions on a piece of paper, let it be the extension of your mind and energy. Raw, chaotic; beautiful. Let the light enter, perhaps you would see what I see. And now, we connect.
