ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The painting "Cote d'Azur No. 10" is the result of comprehending what the artist saw on repeated trips to the French Riviera. Long stay in an old fishing town on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, visiting ancient stone cities on the tops of the Provencal hills of Haute-de-Cagnes, Vence, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Biot, Eze and others .. long hours in museums and galleries near authentic works of masterpieces of the first half of the 20th century leave an indelible mark on the artist's work and completely change the picture of his understanding of art. The plot is inspired by the work of Provencal artists of the mid-20th century, Picasso, Dufy, Matisse, F.Léger..
