The artist was born on December 15, 1958, in Nakhodka. He graduated from the Electromechanical College. Since 1989, he has developed a strong interest in wooden sculpture. On January 7, 1991, he created his first artwork using honey watercolors on hardboard, incorporating shavings and PVA. Since 1991, painting has become the artist's sole occupation. Additionally, he took up smoking pipes. His artistic style encompasses abstract expressionism and conceptualism. He has received recognition as the recipient of the Popkov Prize from the International Foundation for the Arts. His works can be found in collections such as the International Art Fund, Kennedy Business Centre, Perth Art Gallery, and Mandurah Art Gallery. Over the years, the artist has generously donated more than 1,500 works to private and corporate collections. Currently, there are approximately 350 works in his Moscow workshop. Cherednichenko is known for his versatility in style, employing various materials including canvas, oil paint, and palette knife techniques.
