ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was feeling moody when painting this. This is the only pandemic painting I have actually done, and it was my first oil painting ever. I work in healthcare on the front lines as a Nurse Practitioner. This year has not been the year when I could pick up a hobby or hone my work. I have been deep in it and I think this piece captures the feelings I had of being swallowed up by all of it.
