Ethereal Vision Print

The art piece "Ethereal Vision" was birthed from a deep, personal place. This piece embodies the intense emotion and the pulsating energy. I chose a vibrant palette of red and orange hues, attempting to capture visual aesthetic of the exotic dance. The fluid technique, punctuated by precise brushstrokes, reflects the dichotomy of the dance characterized by unbridled passion constrained by the discipline of rhythm and tradition. Created with acrylics, "Ethereal Vision" merges the versatility and speed of the medium with the textures and depth created by brush and palette knife work. The choice of acrylics was intentional, driven by the need to match the rapid pace of the exotic dance inspiration, and their quick-drying nature allowed the layering of colors to create an almost three-dimensional effect. As for the style, my approach was to break away from the literal interpretation of the dance and to present an abstract form of it instead. It was an attempt to push beyond the constraints of realism and delve into a realm where emotions and expressions take precedence over shapes and forms.
