Born in Seville in 1975, Bruno’s interest in painting began at a young age, drawing behind the enormous plans of his architect father, and developing his perception of space and forms from an early age. He has always lived in a privileged environment for art since his mother was a painter and his grandfather traveled the landscapes of Spain by motorcycle painting watercolors. He has a degree in Architecture, has also has masters in Drawing and Painting, Film Directing, Graphic Design and Advertising and currently combines his artistic career with the University of Fine Arts. He believes that an artist’s learning never ends. His work has been exhibited worldwide from Tokyo and Salzburg to Madrid, Barcelona and of course Seville. This is from his personal series: Strata, where he combines bold brushtrokes, energy, layers of paint, calligraphy, and a process of transformation in time and space. His paintings are powerful and beautiful in person, with all the details and textures which are impossible to appreciate in a photography.
