My work is about the interplay between far and near, outside and inside, stranger and friend. The distant picture, in which the painted background mixes with the lines applied later, represents the strange/external/distant. The first look we dare. The closer we go, the more the outer image disintegrates and gives way to the details, the real lines, the real being, the inside, the friend(?). I want to encourage the viewer to come closer, to look, to discover and maybe even to have tolerance with the lines of the other.
