About The Artwork
Cickens are "the" globalized animal. Eggs are eaten everywhere. 'Heart of Darkness', by Joseph Konrad, inspired me to start this series. There is a scene in the beginning of the book about the whites in Africa and the terrible consequences, and a deal involving chickens is the motif. Just read this again today and then thought about chickens.
