Contact us.Xiaoyang Galas is a Chinese artist based in France. She studied Fine Art Painting and holds a Master’s degree in Chinese Art History and Art Criticism from Sichuan Fine Art Academy, China. Her work bridges Eastern and Western artistic traditions, combining vibrant painting, Chinese calligraphy, collage, and found imagery to create richly layered compositions. Her art explores love, faith, memory, cultural identity, and the beauty of life, often incorporating Bible verses in Chinese, French, and English. Through color, texture, and symbolic imagery, Galas seeks to convey messages of peace, hope, and love, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and discover light within the complexity of life. Her work has been exhibited across Europe and the United States, including at The Other Art Fair and in a solo exhibition at the Cité du Temps in Geneva, Switzerland. Her work is part of the permanent collection of the CFA Museum in Athens and has been featured in Maison & Jardin magazine and the Women in Art book. Her artwork is held in private and public collections internationally.
“There is so much darkness and sorrow in this world, I no longer want to paint the dark side. I would like my art to be a tribute to the beauty of this world… I want it to be heart warming for all people… a message of peace and love…”
“For me, life is a journey with a purpose, art is a game with meaning. “
