As an artist, I am deeply inspired by the natural world and the balance of life. Growing up on a family farm, I developed a deep appreciation for the beauty and wonder of the animals around me. This early inspiration led me to study fine art at the Pretoria Art Ballet and Music School, where I honed my skills and developed my unique style of large, expressive, textural paintings. My work is driven by my spirituality and the desire to connect with the viewer on a deeper level. Through the use of vibrant colors, bold brush strokes, and thick layers of paint, I create works that are both raw and powerful, inviting the viewer to experience the intensity of my artistic vision. Now, as a resident of Mauritius, I find myself constantly drawn to the vast ocean and the relationship between mankind and the environment. My paintings are a reflection of my own inner journey, as I use my paintings as a means of processing and communicating my deepest thoughts and feelings.
