The artwork titled "Imponenza" is a mesmerizing creation crafted with an impactful green spray paint. It possesses an imposing presence as it covers a thick layer of stucco that descends from top to bottom across the entire surface. In this piece, the color acts as a veneer of reality, enclosing the ideas—the layer of substance—beyond our realm, making it impossible for us to grasp their flawless essence. The utilization of green spray paint emanates a vibrant energy and vitality. The color itself symbolizes growth, rejuvenation, and a connection to nature. As the spray paint is applied onto the stucco, it engenders a dynamic interplay between the stucco's solid texture and the paint's fluidity. The spray paint seems to dance across the surface, with its vibrant green pigments blending harmoniously with the underlying material. The substantial layer of stucco, pulled downwards in a continuous motion, embodies a tangible barrier—a formidable façade. It detains the ideas, the very essence, just out of our grasp, teasingly close but seemingly elusive. The texture of the stucco adds a tactile quality to the artwork, engendering a profound sense of depth and solidity. Engaging with "Imponenza," viewers are confronted with a dichotomy. The vibrant green spray paint, with its vivid presence, represents the tangible reality that we can perceive. Yet, it simultaneously becomes a metaphorical barricade that separates us from the essence, the perfect core of the ideas embodied by the underlying stucco. Overall, "Imponenza" is a visually captivating artwork that combines the energy of green spray paint with the solidity of stucco. It evokes a sense of awe and wonder while symbolizing the elusive nature of capturing the flawless essence that lies just beyond our world.

My name is Stefano, born in 2000, and this is a brief summary of my artistic journey. I immersed myself in the magnificent world of contemporary art during the second half of my high school studies, falling in love with Van Gogh's post-impressionist paintings accompanied by the captivating literature of Pascoli's decadentism. After graduating from a scientific high school, I attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Brera (Milan) where I obtained my degree in painting. My early works, dating back to 2016/2017, were unique compositions that encompassed the "Divine Triad of the Arts," namely painting, poetry, and music. After pursuing this project for three years and producing a significant body of work (approximately 40 pieces), I decided to change direction and explore the capabilities of materials in all their aspects, giving them the opportunity to narrate themselves to our naive gaze, attributing to them a meaning beyond their mere objecthood. It is from this point that the series of works titled "The Material of the Gaze" began, a conceptual attempt to tell the story of Plato's hyperuranion and an intrinsic invitation to go beyond the normality of sight. It is an invitation to truly See, delving deep into the soul of things, beyond their mere craftsmanship or color. With this technique, I embarked on a true search for my identity and style, and I believe that as I progress in my studies, this approach will accompany me in every aspect of my artistic evolution.
