ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Refugio Collection explores themes of home and wholeness through stochasticity in mark-making, simultaneously occupying the universal and the personal in pursuit of nonviolent methods and meaning. My latest collection combines elements of formal play and meditation with modern astronomy and mathematics, creating extraterrestrial worlds simultaneously abstract yet universally familiar—each an intimate exploration of coöperation, wisdom, humility, and love. Infinite Contact No.18 is the first werk of the Refugio Collection, and continues an exploration of hope and healing within my subject matter.
