About The Artwork
Laura 2 is my second painting based on the classic film, Laura (1944), an intriguing, light-hearted, film-noir classic directed by Otto Preminger. Gene Tierney and Dana Andrews are both outstanding in their roles. There is an innocent, romantic chemistry between the two stars who play bigger than life characters. The vivid stained-glass appearance of my painting creates an idealised interpretation of the film shot, aimed to capture the ethereal quality of the two Hollywood Golden Age icons. All my paintings are on professional-quality canvas, stretched over a wooden frame and ready to hang. I use high-quality paint and medium during the painting process to maintain the beautiful colours and longevity of my work. My paintings come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
