My work is about feelings; about freedom. I create spontaneous paintings, listening to extraordinary music. Each painting has the name of an inspiring song. It can be a face, a body, or an abstract painting; it can be colourful or black and white... it depends on "where" the music takes me. Most of my works are abstract paintings, frequently inspired in Nature. In colours and textures, storms, the sun and the moon, the sea, the rain, the sky. The music and my emotions determine the result: quiet and peaceful, vibrant and passionate, dark and unsettling. Always minimalist just like Nature. Sometimes I feel the need to paint people, the need to express the sensuality, the glamour, the power, the humility of human beings. The influence of Pop Art is visible in those paintings. Strong and intense colours are common. I use traditional techniques, mainly acrylic on canvas, mixed with everything I can imagine to create soft and hard textures. Several acrylic layers are present in all the abstract paintings.
