ABOUT THE ARTWORK
When we lived in New Mexico, I learned that it was often referred to as "the lightning state" because there was often lightning whenever we had a big storm. My goal was to capture the drama of a lightning storm in my painting and include the desert southwest landscape. This painting is done on masonite board.
