About The Artwork

Only 64 left? Or less? A small solitary wild cat Margay that lives in evergreen deciduous forests may be lost forever as many other felines. Until the end of the 20th century, margays were hunted for the wildlife trade and it resulted in a large population decrease. Only in 2008, the margay has been listed as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red List. Their number is declining due to the loss of their habitat. It was deforestation in Central South America that led to this issue. Who is the next? This original middle-size canvas is one-of-a-kind, hand-signed. It is stretched on wooden bars and ready to hang on the wall.
