Recognised for his cityscape painting and portraiture work, SEQ is an expressive draughtsman, figurative painter, sculptor and a Teaching Artist with Northwind Art based in the US Pacific Northwest. He has studied commercial art and illustration as well as the classical disciplines at The Pratt Institute, The Clarence Muse School, the High School of Art and Design and the Fine Arts department of Kingsborough Community College. SEQ works are characterised by solid drawing skills, intense earth colours, and an expressive aesthetic inspired by German Expressionism, post-war Modernism and the Russian Lubok.
