ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The first series of six original nude paintings by British artist Janette Lockett was commissioned for a leading Harley Street Clinic in London and framed to put on the walls of the clinic for their clients to admire. Janette has subsequently been commissioned to paint other nude figures. In a similar style to her horse paintings, the artist has used pastels in different shades of grey on a white background. A fine art print of this ethereal male figure painting will need framing with or without a passe-partout. Or a canvas with black gallery wrap would look stunning in any home.

Janette Lockett was born in Yorkshire, England in 1963. Her passion for horses developed as a young child. Having found the perfect setting for her creative talent in Andalusia, Spain, she began her career as a self-taught equestrian artist and has had much success with her work internationally. Janette paints with a unique style using pastels. Known primarily for her equestrian paintings, Art Equus, Janette also paints ethereal nudes in shades of grey.
