Born South Africa.-1939 Grew up in Mozambique and shooled in South Africa and Rhodesia. I became interested in painting from about the age of sixteen when I then started producing art. My primary and lasting influence comes from the impressionists and continues to this day. I perceive paintings to be like open windows on the wall which should always enchant the viewer however many times they are viewed.
Therefore I always strive to create a thing of visual beauty to delight the observer.
