Para can have several meanings. Its primary meaning is beyond the mentioned thing, but the Sanskrit meaning is also beyond, beyond something, hidden. The images are fed by my dreams, I combine and mix fiction and reality, which is why I feel a similarity between Neo Rauch and my own art, since our images have a narrative that seeks to create a passage through time and space. I would also like to interpret the painting Para through the work of Neo Rauch, because the title of the painting also comes from one of his exhibitions. Gary Tinterow (2007) writes about his artistic work in connection with the exhibition "Neo Rauch at the Met: para" that the costumes and uniforms fascinate Rauch and revive such failed utopias by evoking a nostalgic visible environment where the figures are in a Sisyphean struggle.

For me, art is an analytical activity, a self-analytical, non-objective attitude, it strives for recognition, and this process interacts with conscious and unconscious contents, putting them in a new light. Art is the only activity where a person is present as a person, as a true individual. Only in art can it transcend the animal level, because art opens up to realms that transcend space and time.
