ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work is inspired by a visit to New Orleans where the famous Pearl Restaurant, abandoned ages ago, resides. This one has a plastic sheet over it to protect the neon, but people have added their own designs to it with graffiti and strings of Mardi Gras beads.
